Animal and bird life

Our area is marked by a particularly varied bird and animal life. You may spot seals, sea eagles, many species of seabirds, elk, red deer and roe deer. Averøy has been called a Norway in miniature with its high mountains, fjords, sea, marshes, freshwater, deciduous woods and coniferous forests. The area is therefore one of great biodiversity.
